Legal Market Report 2024/2025

With great pleasure, we present to you the latest edition of the Legal Market Report.

As every year, we have conducted an in-depth analysis not only of remuneration, but also of key trends, expectations, and challenges that shape the work of legal professionals.

This time, however, we placed particular emphasis on the role of new technologies—especially artificial intelligence and automation—which are transforming the delivery of legal services in unprecedented ways.

There is no doubt that AI is becoming an integral part of everyday legal practice. From document analysis and project management optimization to legal research support—AI-powered tools streamline many processes and enable professionals to focus on tasks requiring strategic thinking.

Nevertheless, the results of our study show that trust in AI among legal professionals remains limited. This is understandable, particularly in the context of legal liability and the need to maintain the highest quality of legal services.

However, we are observing a growing openness to the use of technology in both law firms and in-house legal departments. Companies are investing in LegalTech solutions, and more and more legal professionals are recognizing that automation helps reduce routine duties, which translates into greater efficiency and improved quality of legal advice.

At the same time, technological competencies are gaining importance—modern lawyers not only know the law, but also understand the tools that support them and their clients.

This year, for the first time, we expanded the scope of the survey to include the tax advisory and patent sectors.

We hope that this group of report recipients will continue to grow and that our analysis will contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and changes within these fields.

This year’s research also focused on key aspects related to work organization and employment conditions. We looked at professional mobility, changes in remuneration, working hours, and involvement in pro bono activities.

We hope the findings will help all of us better understand the factors influencing career decisions among legal professionals, as well as how their daily work is shaped in an ever-evolving environment.

We strongly believe that thorough research and open discussion about the state of the sector are crucial. That’s why we are pleased to provide you with unique data and insights in this format.

We hope that similar publications will be created in the future, allowing us to track trends and engage in meaningful conversations about the directions of change.
